Market Maven Kobusigye Seizes NRM Women's League Throne

Adrine Kobusigye from Bushenyi just landed the top spot nomination for National Women's League boss. Jane Alisemeera Babiiha from the NRM electoral commission picked her for the powerful role Wednesday afternoon. The businesswoman wants to bring back the good old days when the women's group had real power. She believes Uganda picked her because she speaks for ladies across the country. Kobusigye thinks she can lead with heart and show real care for female voters.

The candidate plans to change how women think about money and business success. She wants ladies to become stronger leaders who help other females climb up the ladder. Kobusigye promised to work hard for President Museveni during election campaigns. She said the president has always supported women getting better jobs and more respect. The nominee believes she can help female citizens connect better with government officials.

Kobusigye told reporters that real changes will happen over the next five years. She wants women to work together and build each other up instead of competing. The business leader thinks females need new attitudes about what they can achieve. She promised to fight for policies that help mothers and working ladies succeed. Kobusigye said her victory would prove that ordinary women can reach the highest political positions.
