Married Woman Puts Man in Jail with Fake Pregnancy Scam

A 31-year-old man regrets sleeping with a woman whom he says tricked him into helping her have a baby after she failed to conceive with her husband.

Tatenda Makosa spent time in jail and police arrested him many times based on claims from his former lover, Prisca Chirimo, 25. She accused him of rape, assault, theft and cyber bullying. Police freed Tatenda yesterday after his Wednesday arrest for cyberbullying. He claims he fell for Prisca, who wanted to become pregnant because she could not conceive with her husband, a transport business worker.

Prisca stayed almost a week with Tatenda and became pregnant, then accused him of rape. She withdrew these charges after counseling, but later reported assault. The court convicted Tatenda and gave him a suspended sentence with community service. Prisca filed another police report last Saturday, claiming cyberbullying, because she wants to hide their affair from her husband.

Prisca cried when asked about this and denied the pregnancy story. She said she wants to end their relationship because Tatenda became abusive. She claimed she pretended to be married to make him leave her alone, but he kept bothering her and threatened to call her fake husband.
