Masvingo City Council has acquired a five-hectare burial site at Cambria Farm, following the exhaustion of space in its two primary cemeteries. Town Clerk Engineer Edward Mukaratirwa confirmed on Tuesday that Lawn Cemetery has closed permanently, while Mangwandi retains minimal capacity. The local authority installed the necessary infrastructure at the Cambria location to begin interments.
