Despite the challenges, he expressed deep gratitude for his 12-year marriage to Gena Avery, who has been a source of love and support. “I’m so grateful that I have this wonderful woman,” he said, describing their relationship as authentic and filled with joy.
He also discussed his battle with male breast cancer, a condition that many are unaware of. “Twenty-two thousand men a year worldwide are diagnosed with male breast cancer,” Knowles noted, advocating for early detection and genetic testing, especially in Black communities.
