Mazaleni crowned Miss South Africa

Qhawekazi Mazaleni won the Miss South Africa crown on Sunday at Sun City Superbowl after competing against nine finalists in the pageant's 76th edition. The new titleholder announced plans to focus her reign on women's empowerment, youth unemployment, education access, and civic participation across the nation. Luyanda Zuma finished as first runner-up while Karabo Mareka took second runner-up honors at the competition.
