Producers behind the mythological thriller NC24 revealed on Tuesday that actress Meenakshi Chaudhary portrays a character named Daksha in the upcoming feature starring Naga Chaitanya. Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra announced her role through social media while promising additional information throughout November. The studio had originally planned to share Chaudhary's character image on Monday but delayed the announcement out of respect for victims of a fatal bus crash that occurred in Telangana's Chevella mandal on the same day.
Chaitanya previously described the project during a YouTube interview as a large-scale production featuring extensive visual effects work. The actor noted the adventure and treasure-hunting elements represent new territory for him after 15 years in cinema. Director Karthik Dandu, known for the horror picture Virupaksha, leads the effort with a screenplay written by director Sukumar. Producer BVSN Prasad finances the venture.
