Microsoft expanded its Xbox Cloud Gaming capabilities by bringing the Stream Your Own Game functionality to PC users. The company integrated this streaming service into the Xbox PC application after launching it on console platforms during November 2024. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can access this feature across 28 supported regions where Xbox Cloud Gaming operates. The streaming library contains more than 250 titles spanning various genres from major publishers.
Additional updates enhance the user experience through new tracking systems. Insider program participants receive access to comprehensive play history monitoring across multiple devices. The application displays gaming activity from both console and PC platforms in a unified interface. Microsoft also introduced a progress tracker that monitors user advancement toward earning platform rewards during gameplay sessions.
