Migrant Cook Stabs Teen Over Dirty Clothes in Cafe

A cook from Central Asia stabbed a teenager at a sushi bar in the Leningrad Region. The attack happened April 11 in Tikhvin, according to local police. The 27-year-old cook was allegedly attacked because he thought the 17-year-old technical school student wore dirty clothes to the restaurant. The teenager suffered a stab wound that required hospital treatment. Officials described his condition as moderate.

Police arrested the cook at the sushi bar. Authorities charged him under criminal code section 111, part 2, paragraph z for causing serious bodily harm. The suspect remains in a detention center awaiting further legal proceedings. This incident follows another case involving a migrant cook who died in a shopping center parking lot in St. Petersburg. Law enforcement continues to investigate both cases.
