Milind says cities are lazy, villages still move

Milind Soman just went off about city life and tech. He says all our gadgets are making urban people lazy and weak, both in body and mind. Soman, the actor from shows like Paurashpur, argued that rural areas are better off because they use technology less. He thinks over reliance on devices makes us forget how to use our own bodies and brains, leaving us worse overall.

He pointed out the difference in daily movement. City folks do everything on a computer or phone, barely any physical work. Meanwhile, village life still involves cycling, walking, and manual labor. That activity, according to him, gives rural people a clearer idea of real fitness. The result for urban centers, he said, is a population that has largely become lazy.

Soman also talked about women’s influence at a recent Zydus Pinkathon event. He believes if women prioritize their own health and grasp what a fit lifestyle means, they can steer their entire families toward better habits. His logic is that healthy families create a healthier society, which then builds a healthier country. He is known for pushing this kind of active, disciplined living as a counter to modern sedentary trends.
