Milot, Mahrez lead Al-Ahli past Nasaf 4 to 2, King Abdullah

Saudi Arabian champions Al-Ahli secured a dramatic comeback victory against Uzbekistan representatives Nasaf during their AFC Champions League group stage opener at King Abdullah Stadium. The visitors established an early advantage when Khusein Nursheyev found the net twice within seven minutes during the first half, putting his team ahead 2-0 by the 41st minute. Al-Ahli responded after the break as Enzo Milot delivered two quick strikes between the 64th and 68th minutes to level the contest. Riyad Mahrez completed the turnaround with a decisive goal three minutes into stoppage time before Mohammed Suleiman Bakr added a fourth goal during the 15th minute of added time. The defending champions earned their first three points of the campaign while Nasaf left empty-handed from their tournament debut.
