Minister Amir Muqam Offers Condolences in Daska, Criticizes KP Government's Response to Swat Tragedy

Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam traveled to Daska in Sialkot district on Sunday. He met with families who lost loved ones during a recent accident in Swat. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had asked him to visit these grieving families. The minister told relatives that all Pakistani people feel sad about their losses. He said prayers for those who died in the tragic event.

Muqam spoke to reporters after meeting the families. He said tourist areas need better rescue services right away. The minister blamed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leaders for not caring about people's safety. He accused the provincial government of wasting money on political games instead of helping citizens. The KP administration ignores serious problems that affect ordinary people every day.

The federal minister criticized the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for showing no compassion. He said the provincial leader should have visited the affected families himself. Muqam praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for starting an air ambulance program. This service has already rescued more than 170 people across Punjab province. The minister wants other provinces to copy Punjab's emergency response model.
