Mirza Fakhrul rages over the Mitford Hospital murder of Mohammad Sohag

BNP leader Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir slammed the brutal murder that shocked the nation when Mohammad Sohag met his violent end. The young businessman died after attackers hacked and beat him at Mitford Hospital's main entrance on July 9. Witnesses watched in horror as the savage assault unfolded during daylight hours in the busy capital area. The opposition chief demanded swift justice for the barbaric crime that stunned ordinary citizens across Bangladesh. Fakhrul insisted that such terrorism goes against everything his political party represents.

The senior politician warned that failing to prosecute the killers would drag society deeper into lawlessness. He called the public execution a heinous act that violated basic human decency and moral standards. The BNP secretary general stressed that nobody stands above legal consequences regardless of their identity or connections. He challenged the interim government to launch an immediate and fair investigation into the deadly attack. Fakhrul emphasized that only exemplary punishment would restore public confidence in the justice system.

The opposition leader offered prayers for the victim's soul while extending heartfelt sympathy to Sohag's grieving relatives. He declared that real criminals must face the full weight of legal punishment for their actions. The politician argued that allowing such violence to go unpunished would encourage more brutal crimes. Fakhrul demanded that authorities identify and arrest everyone responsible for the shocking murder. He insisted that proper justice would send a strong message about Bangladesh's commitment to protecting innocent citizens.
