Modi brings a Rs 34,200 crore bonanza to Bhavnagar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi travels to Gujarat Saturday for the Samudra se Samriddhi programme at Jawahar Maidan in Bhavnagar. The event features development projects valued at more than Rs 34,200 crore across multiple sectors. Modi will establish foundations and open facilities during this high-profile gathering. Maritime infrastructure receives significant attention with initiatives worth Rs 7,870 crore spanning major Indian ports. The Mumbai International Cruise Terminal at Indira Dock opens alongside new container facilities at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port.

Gujarat receives Rs 26,354 crore worth of state-specific projects spanning renewable energy, healthcare, and transportation. The HPLNG Regasification Terminal at Chhara Port begins operations with solar initiatives for farmers. Hospital expansions in Bhavnagar and Jamnagar receive foundation ceremonies. Highway improvements cover 70 kilometers of national routes. Modi conducts an aerial assessment of Dholera Special Investment Region, designed as a sustainable industrial city attracting global investment.
