Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the India Mobile Congress 2025 on Tuesday at Asia's leading telecom and technology conference in New Delhi. Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia inspected final arrangements at the venue before the prime minister's address and traveled by Airport Metro to highlight India's commitment to modern urban transit.
The congress expects more than 150,000 visitors, 7,000 delegates from over 150 nations, and 400 exhibitors across 450,000 square feet. Participants will view more than 1,600 technology displays and attend 100 sessions featuring 800 speakers discussing telecom innovations. Six global summits will address 6G research, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, satellite communications, startups, and the Global Startup World Cup India Edition. Scindia noted India ranks among the world's top three digital economies with 1.2 billion mobile subscribers, 970 million internet users, and has completed its 5G rollout in 22 months.
