Modi reviews bullet train work in Surat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inspected construction progress at a bullet train station in Surat and engaged with engineers and workers developing the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor. During his visit, he proposed creating a documentation system to record technical innovations and operational insights from building the 508-kilometer rail line connecting Gujarat and Maharashtra.

Workers expressed pride in contributing to the project, with team members from diverse backgrounds sharing their experiences with the prime minister. Modi emphasized their pioneering role in establishing high-speed rail infrastructure across the country. Shruti, who manages design and engineering controls, explained how detailed planning precedes each implementation phase.

The corridor will link 12 major urban centers, including Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Bilimora, Vapi, Boisar, Virar, Thane and Mumbai, representing a significant advancement in transportation capabilities.
