Russia launched its annual atomic energy conference Wednesday at Moscow's VDNKh center. Deputy Prime Minister A V Novak delivered remarks as representatives from more than 100 nations gathered for the four-day event. Myanmar and Russia formalized an educational partnership during the proceedings. ROSATOM Technical Academy partnered with Yangon Technological University through a formal agreement covering nuclear research and academic collaboration. Dr Soe Lin Aung from Naypyidaw State Polytechnic University highlighted planned faculty exchanges and joint research initiatives. The partnership builds upon existing programs that send Myanmar students to Russian institutions with ROSATOM sponsorship.
