Mpox Panic as Cases Jump to 98 in Ghana

Ghana doctors found seven more people with Mpox disease. The health service shared this news on Sunday. The country has seen 98 cases since the sickness first appeared. Nobody has died from Mpox in Ghana. No patients are staying in hospitals right away.

Mpox spreads when people touch others who have the disease. The sickness used to be called monkeypox. Health workers say they can control the problem. People should wash their hands often and stay away from sick persons. This helps stop the disease from spreading to more people.

The Ghana Health Service watches for new cases every day. They want to catch the disease early. Officials will keep telling people about new cases. They promise to share updates when things change. The health service says people should not worry about the situation.
