MPs cheer unity deal between Ruto and Odinga

Several lawmakers from Western Kenya and the Rift Valley areas cheered for the new partnership between President William Ruto and his former rival Raila Odinga. They believe this team-up helps bring folks together and makes the government work better. The group met up at Kamagut High School in Uasin Gishu during a special thank-you celebration put together by Farouk Kibet, who works closely with President Ruto. Farouk spoke highly about both leaders deciding to join forces.

MPs Emmanuel Wangwe, Fredrick Ikana, Benard Shinali, and Janet Sitienei attended the gathering. They talked about how Ruto and Raila stand as the most powerful voices across Kenya. These politicians can pull everyone together and boost business growth that helps regular citizens. Ikana thanked the local people from Uasin Gishu who backed Ruto and helped him grow as a leader through many years. He mentioned that Ruto proved himself unselfish by reaching out to work with Raila.

Ikana added that Western Kenya has decided to support Ruto completely. He pushed for another term for the president and asked people to reject those who spread tribal division. Farouk stated that both Ruto and Raila put Kenya first when they chose cooperation over fighting. He claimed anyone still pushing tribal politics would fail badly. Farouk called on religious leaders to speak against tribal talk just as strongly as they speak against stealing public money. He stressed that every Kenyan deserves to live anywhere without facing problems.

Sitienei expressed her happiness about the agreement between these two big leaders. She appreciated Raila for stepping up to help Ruto make the government succeed. Wangwe explained he had known Ruto for many years. Even though he ran for office under the ODM party banner, Ruto always welcomed him regardless of political differences. Wangwe promised total backing from Raila supporters and warned against anyone trying to mess with the president's plans. Shinali pointed to government programs like SHA and affordable housing as projects that would change Kenya for the better.
