Mudavadi brings Ramadan support to Kibra families

Musalia Mudavadi recently handed out Iftar food to families keeping Ramadan in Makina and Kibera. UAE Ambassador Salem Ibrahim Al Naqbi led this help effort, which gave basic food to 823 homes in the Kibera area. These supplies help families during their fasting period. Mudavadi thanked the UAE for their kindness.

He said the food shows the strong friendship between Kenya and the UAE. Mudavadi praised the Kibra Jamia Mosque leaders for helping their community. He also promised the Nubian community that the government would secure their rightful land. The 288 acres meant for them remain under the care of the Kenyan government.

Mudavadi asked the UAE Ambassador to help make Kibera mosques more modern, like those in UAE. He talked about the government's housing plan which aims to improve living spaces for everyone. He wants Kibra people to benefit from better homes. Mudavadi also spoke about his earlier talks on safety issues in Congo.

He urged Kenyans to pray for peace in that region during Ramadan. Mudavadi pointed out that Kenya serves as a place where people from other countries can voice their concerns. The UAE Ambassador stressed the brotherly bond between Kenya and the UAE. Muslim leaders at the event appreciated how the government helps their community, including removing taxes on key items during Ramadan.
