Bangladesh's Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus believes social business can transform the entire world. He spoke at Social Business Day and said this approach represents the best method for providing healthcare to all people globally. Yunus addressed healthcare challenges during his speech at the event's opening ceremony. The gathering took place at Samajik Convention Centre in Zirabo, Savar near Dhaka. He emphasized that social business offers the most effective solution for universal healthcare access.
This year's theme focuses on social business as the top way to guarantee healthcare for everyone. The two-day conference attracts more than 1,400 people from 38 different countries. Government advisors, senior officials and diplomats attended the opening session. The Yunus Centre and Grameen Group work together to host this annual gathering. This marks the 15th time organizers have held Social Business Day.
The event brings together global knowledge, experience and new ideas to tackle healthcare inequalities. Participants will explore ways to build a more sustainable and fair world. The program features five main sessions and eight smaller group discussions. These sessions will cover different viewpoints and creative solutions. Notable speakers will address various topics throughout the conference.

Omar Ishrak previously led Medtronic as CEO and Chairman and chaired Intel Corporation's board. Dr Ismail Serageldin once held the position of World Bank Vice President. Erik Solheim formerly directed UN Environment and served as Norway's Environment and Climate Minister.
