Murad Ali Shah, Zimbabwe envoy, discusses trade and direct flights in Karachi meeting

Syed Murad Ali Shah welcomed Titus M.J. Abu Basutu at a diplomatic gathering focused on bilateral relations between Pakistan and Zimbabwe. Senior government officials and business leaders participated in discussions about expanding cooperation across multiple sectors. The meeting addressed opportunities in trade, education, information technology, tourism, agriculture, and industrial development. Shah emphasized the importance of establishing direct flights between Karachi and Zimbabwe to facilitate commerce and strengthen personal connections. He suggested organizing a virtual Pakistan-Zimbabwe Investment Conference to explore collaborative ventures.

The ambassador recognized Pakistan Air Force contributions to training Zimbabwean military personnel and showed enthusiasm for sectoral partnerships. Both representatives committed to identifying strategic priorities before the proposed investment conference. Shah promoted increased textile and pharmaceutical exports as key growth areas for bilateral trade. The discussion centered on engaging relevant stakeholders to maximize economic benefits for both nations. Officials agreed that enhanced connectivity would accelerate business relationships and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
