President Yoweri Museveni addressed Busoga regional leaders at State Lodge Nakasero on Friday, September 26, 2025. The president warned against divisive politics while promoting National Resistance Movement principles of patriotism, Pan-Africanism, socioeconomic transformation and democracy. Museveni highlighted government infrastructure investments across Busoga, citing new factories in Jinja, Njeru and Masese alongside road improvements. He promised additional highway construction connecting Iganga-Luuka-Kamuli and Kimaka-Mbulamuti-Kamuli routes.
