Mutaagas murdered, family is already fighting over their home

Killers struck an elderly couple just days after they came back home from living overseas for years. David Mutaaga and his wife Deborah Florence Mutaaga died inside their house during a vicious attack last Monday morning. The 69-year-old man and his 62-year-old wife had settled back into their Entebbe home after spending time in Europe. Their worker Ronald Golooba found the bodies and called police right away. Officers rushed to the scene and discovered both victims had been stabbed below the chest.

Security cameras caught the murderers climbing over the fence to break into the property. The attackers smashed a bedroom window and damaged the roof to get inside the house. Police brought sniffer dogs to track the killers but lost their trail at the front gate. Crime scene experts processed evidence and took photos of the damage throughout the home. The killers escaped through the main entrance after finishing their deadly mission.

Family drama over inherited land appears to be the reason behind these brutal murders. David had received property from his dead father which made other relatives angry and jealous. The couple's children still live abroad and cannot come back to handle funeral arrangements. A bitter fight has started over who controls the dead couple's belongings and estate. Police continue hunting for the murderers but have not caught anyone yet.
