MWOS dethrone Simba Bhora as Mutasa and Luphahla fight for the Harare soccer crown

Lloyd Mutasa and Joel Luphahla face off from different corners of Harare as their teams battle for league supremacy. MWOS recently knocked Simba Bhora from the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League summit and leads by three points. The newcomers travel to Heart Stadium against Yadah Stars while Simba Bhora tackles Herentals at Rufaro. Both coaches understand that today's results could shuffle the championship race again. Mutasa's squad sits on 40 points with Luphahla's team trailing on 37.

Luphahla admits his team faltered against ZPC Kariba at home last weekend and refuses to underestimate Herentals. The coach welcomes back Isheanesu Mauchi and goalkeeper William Thole from suspension but loses midfielder Butholezwe Ncube for the same reason. He describes Herentals as a stubborn opponent who rarely concedes goals or points easily. The former Zimbabwe international trusts his players will bounce back from their recent stumble.

Mutasa recently received recognition at the Dungwiza Community Trailblazers Awards for his coaching achievements. The MWOS boss warns against complacency despite facing relegation-threatened Yadah. He emphasizes that every Premier League match presents challenges, especially when teams target the log leaders. The coach plans to strengthen his squad during the mid-season transfer window with three young additions. Star midfielder Nigel Matinha remains sidelined through injury for the crucial encounter.
