Nana B Confident NPP Will Win 2028 Elections Despite NDC's Current Strength

Henry Nana Boakye believes his political party will win Ghana's next presidential election. The National Organizer for the New Patriotic Party made these comments during a television interview. He told viewers that the opposition group plans to take back control of government. The politician uses the nickname Nana B when speaking to reporters. His party lost power after the recent 2024 voting contest.

The NDC currently runs Ghana's government after winning the last election. Nana B thinks the ruling party will lose support from citizens before 2028 arrives. He says the current administration started making mistakes that upset voters. The opposition leader believes people will become unhappy with government policies. Public approval ratings will fall as leaders break campaign promises.

The NPP wants to show voters it can improve economic conditions across the country. Party officials plan to point out problems with current government programs. They will criticize policies that fail to help ordinary citizens. Campaign workers will start organizing early for the upcoming election cycle. The opposition group thinks early preparation gives them advantages over competitors.

President John Mahama cannot seek another term because constitutional rules limit presidential service. The NDC must choose a different candidate to represent their party. Both major political groups will select new leaders before 2028 voting begins. The NPP scheduled January 31, 2026 as their candidate selection date. Party members will pick someone to challenge whoever the NDC nominates for president.
