Nation Stunned As Football Guru Masanjala Dies

Former Malawi national football team coach Alex Masanjala died at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital during Thursday morning. The veteran mentor battled infections for several months before passing away at the Blantyre medical facility. Football supporters across the country remember Masanjala for developing young talent and building strong teams. He coached many top clubs during his career and earned respect from players everywhere.

Masanjala led the national team called the Flames and managed major clubs like Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers. He worked with MDC United, Escom United, Blantyre United, and Sucoma teams throughout his career. The coach built disciplined squads and helped players believe they could win tough matches.
