Neeraj, Ishan Kataria, Yatri Patel, and Priya enter finals at the Asian boxing in Bangkok

Four Indian boxers advanced to championship matches at the U22 Asian Boxing Championships in Bangkok on Wednesday. Neeraj defeated South Korea's Kyeongho Bang with a 5-0 decision in the men's 75kg division. Ishan Kataria stopped China's Chen Chen in round three of the men's 90+kg contest. Yatri Patel earned a unanimous victory over Vietnam's Thi Nhung Quand in women's 57kg competition. Priya dominated Uzbekistan's Odinakhon Ismoilova to reach the women's 60kg final.

Several other Indian fighters earned bronze medals after semifinal losses. Rockey Chaudhary could not continue due to cuts above both eyes against Iran's Sam Estaki. Harsh lost a split decision to Uzbekistan's Shohruh Abdumalikov in the 60kg category. Mayur fell to another Uzbek opponent, Shakhzod Polvonov, in the 90kg division. Ankush suffered a shutout defeat against Kazakhstan's Sanzhar-Ali Begaliyev, while four women boxers also secured bronze medals.
