Lungile Siyaphi took home the crown at the 46th White Star Miss Soweto competition held at Soweto Theatre, and she posted about how grateful she feels for everyone who backed her during the whole process. She beat out Boitumelo Molotsana and Kutlwano Zingitwa for the top spot, walking away with a hundred thousand rand while the runners-up got smaller cash prizes.
The pageant kicked off back in October when they announced the top 20 finalists, and contestants went through leadership training sessions before the big night. Former radio personality Bridget Masinga and makeup pro Bongi Mlotshwa judged the event, while YFM hosts ran the show and singer Azana performed.
