Nomusa Jane Moyo Named New Leader of Zimbabwe's Mineral Marketing Agency.
The Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ) has a new boss. Dr. Nomusa Jane Moyo will be the general manager. She has been doing the job temporarily since July 2023.
Dr. Moyo has worked in government for 24 years, including at the tax office and the Grain Marketing Board. She joined MMCZ in 2009.
Last year, Dr. Moyo helped MMCZ succeed. The company sold more minerals than the year before and started selling to new countries.
Dr. Moyo has worked to stop illegal mining. She made labs better to catch criminals. She also wants Zimbabwe to make more valuable products from its minerals.
Dr. Moyo went to school for a long time. She has degrees in law, economics, and business. She belongs to some important groups for lawyers and accountants.
