Two neighbors in Bulenga spotted a blood trail and followed it until they discovered an abandoned newborn still connected to his placenta. Namaganda Annet and another woman from Kikaaya Zone grabbed the baby and got him to a clinic before handing him over to cops at Bulenga Police Station. Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Rachael Kawala confirmed the whole thing went down in Wakiso District.
Authorities moved the kid to a children's home for proper care, and investigators are trying to track down whoever ditched him. Police documented the scene and want anyone with info to come forward.
