Everything is ready for the Nkulumane constituency by-election today. The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission says they are fully prepared, having spent twenty-one million dollars on the process. Deputy Chairperson Rodney Kiwa stated all materials and trained staff are in place across thirty-four polling stations.
The commission printed twenty-three thousand five hundred ballots for the nearly twenty-three thousand registered voters, including a contingency for spoiled papers. Kiwa noted a peaceful campaign period and encouraged a high voter turnout. Polling stations will operate from seven in the morning until seven at night.
