Cops in the Eastern Region just bagged three guys and a pile of drugs and ammo. This was in Kwahu Nkwatia, a coordinated raid based on tips targeting drug spots and hideouts. They picked up two suspects, Kwame Asomani and Kwasi Dwamena, at a place near the Nkwatia SDA School with a bunch of dried leaves they think are weed. Earlier, over in the Kwayeano area, they found forty-six wraps of the same suspicious plant material.
A third dude got caught separately. That is Kwadwo Ofori, arrested in Aduamoah for having ten rounds of BB gun ammunition with no permit. All three are sitting in a cell right now while the police figure everything out. The seized stuff is locked up for testing. The Eastern North Regional Police Command says the investigation is moving forward, and they will drag these guys to court when they are done.
