No Hard Feelings Mzembi Vows Loyalty to Mnangagwa

Walter Mzembi says he stays loyal to President Emmerson Mnangagwa after party leaders kicked him out. The former minister lost his job and parliament seat because he supported the G40 faction. Party officials expelled Mzembi from ZanuPF during November 2017 meetings. Parliament members removed him from his seat on January 18, 2018. Mzembi accepts these decisions and promises to help the party as a regular citizen.

The politician pledges continued support for Mnangagwa despite his punishment from party leaders. Mzembi believes ZanuPF still represents his values and goals for Zimbabwe. He wants to help with economic development projects as a private person. The former minister promises to work for prosperity across the country. Mzembi says he will support whoever replaces him as Masvingo South representative.

The politician thanks voters who backed him during 15 years serving their area. He represented Masvingo South on the ZanuPF ticket for over a decade. Mzembi served 10 years working directly for the government. He asks people to support the next ZanuPF candidate during upcoming elections. The former minister plans to return to business work after leaving politics behind.
