No licence, no brains - Oscar M goes to jail

A Harare Magistrate's Court sentenced Oscar Ngonidzashe Mushangazhike to imprisonment after he caused a traffic collision while operating a vehicle without proper authorization. The 32-year-old Kuwadzana resident received a one-year custodial sentence for dangerous vehicle operation and paid an 80-dollar penalty for lacking a valid permit. Authorities arrested Mushangazhike following a September 9 incident when he traveled at excessive speed against traffic flow on Kenneth Kaunda Avenue. His vehicle struck another automobile while he moved contrary to designated lane directions during afternoon hours. The court imposed a two-year prohibition on his ability to operate motor vehicles.
