NPFL games have been moved because Remo Stars have other plans

The Nigeria Premier League has modified several weekend fixtures for matchday six due to African competition commitments. Four clubs participating in continental tournaments prompted these schedule alterations. Remo Stars, the current league champions, face US Zilimadjou from Comoros in their CAF Champions League preliminary round return leg. Rivers United meets Les Aigles from the Democratic Republic of Congo in the same competition stage. Meanwhile, Kwara United and Abia Warriors compete in CAF Confederation Cup matches.

The league has rescheduled Abia Warriors to welcome Remo Stars on October 1. Rivers United will entertain Niger Tornadoes on the same date. Officials postponed the clash between Kano Pillars and Kwara United until October 8. Saturday will feature two contests as Plateau United battles El-Kanemi Warriors while Bendel Insurance confronts Bayelsa United. The remaining matchday six encounters proceed according to their original timetable without further modifications.
