Basaksehir secured the services of German tactician Nuri Sahin through a three-year agreement announced on Monday. The 37-year-old manager begins his third professional coaching assignment after previous stints with Antalya Spor and Borussia Dortmund. Sahin guided Antalya Spor between 2021 and 2023 before accepting the Dortmund position last July. His tenure at the German club ended abruptly in January following disappointing team performances. The appointment follows Cağdaş Atan's departure from Basaksehir last week through mutual consent.
