NVIDIA Driver 576.02 Boosts RTX 5080 Performance Up to 7%

NVIDIA released driver version 576.02 that fixes bugs but also brings surprise performance gains. Many RTX graphics cards see better results with this update. The driver solves problems that caused some GPUs to stop working completely.

The new software makes RTX 50 series cards more power-efficient. An RTX 5070 running at 180 MHz in idle mode with previous drivers now runs at just 22 MHz. The RTX 5060 Ti uses only 7 watts when idle. These improvements help save electricity when cards aren't working hard.

Benchmark tests show the RTX 5080 performs much better. Users report scores jumping between 4-7% higher in 3DMark Steel Nomad. Real games like Marvel Rivals run faster too, with frame rates increasing from 140 to over 150 FPS when paired with AMD Ryzen processors.

The benefits extend beyond the newest models. Some RTX 40 series owners noticed 3-4% speed increases after updating. Users can achieve even more performance through manual memory overclocking, which works better with the new driver.

Recent NVIDIA software updates caused many headaches for customers. Hardware issues still affect some RTX 50 cards, but software problems prove easier to fix. The company addressed most major concerns with this latest release.
