This program lets some US GeForce account holders buy RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 Founders Edition cards straight from NVIDIA. The company started VPA three weeks after launching the RTX 50 Series because stores had few cards and resellers charged high prices. Users who created NVIDIA Accounts before January 30, 2025, at 6 AM Pacific Time could sign up through an online form. NVIDIA plans to email the first group of chosen buyers next week.
The program only works for US GeForce users at the moment. It covers just the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 Founders Edition cards made directly by NVIDIA. The new RTX 5070 Ti isn't part of this program - customers must buy partner versions instead. NVIDIA hasn't shared how many people can join the priority access program.
