Nvidia says RTX 50 Founders Edition production rolls on, rumors die

NVIDIA has directly refuted widespread speculation regarding the termination of RTX 50 Founders Edition graphics card manufacturing. Company representatives stated that production continues for these limited edition products, which periodically disappear from official websites during stock shortages before returning when inventory replenishes. The RTX 5090 FE and RTX 5080 FE are currently unavailable, while the RTX 5070 FE remains purchasable at its $549 retail price. Several lower-tier models never received Founders Edition variants.

The graphics manufacturer confirmed that complete production operations remain active for the entire RTX 50 series lineup. This confirmation contradicts theories suggesting imminent RTX 50 SUPER variant launches would replace current models. Companies typically halt manufacturing when preparing product replacements within months, yet NVIDIA maintains full production schedules. The SUPER designation historically substitutes standard versions, making continued manufacturing a strong indicator against near-term product refreshes.
