Nyanga Laptop Thief Lands 6 Months Behind Bars

A man named Regis Svondo went into Nyanga District Hospital and took someone's laptop without asking. He sneaked into Room 13 and ran away with the computer. The laptop belonged to Ernest Tsakatsa.

When Mr. Tsakatsa came back, he noticed his laptop had disappeared. He went straight to the police and told them what happened. The laptop was worth six hundred and fifty dollars.

The next day, someone told the police they saw Mr. Svondo trying to sell a laptop. The police found him and asked Mr. Tsakatsa to look at the laptop. Mr. Tsakatsa checked the special number on the laptop and knew it was his.

The police arrested Mr. Svondo and brought him to the courthouse in Nyanga. The judge said Mr. Svondo did something wrong by breaking into the hospital and stealing. The judge sent him to prison for six months as punishment.
