OneXPlayer X1 Pro Tablet Wows with Core Ultra Power

A new gaming tablet from Chinese manufacturer OneXPlayer brings Intel's powerful Core Ultra 7 255H processor to handheld gaming. The X1 Pro EVA Asuka Limited Edition features an anime-themed design with an all-red exterior and detachable controllers.

The device packs a 16-core processor that doubles the core count of Lunar Lake APUs and includes the stronger Arc 140T integrated graphics. This hardware handles both CPU-intensive tasks and gaming without needing separate graphics cards. The tablet sports 64GB of memory and 2TB of storage, making it well-equipped for modern games.

Unlike typical handhelds, the X1 Pro converts between three configurations: traditional handheld with attached controllers, laptop mode, or standalone screen with kickstand when controllers are removed. The larger screen size enables these versatile setups. Pre-orders start at $1,649, and sales will end on April 30 due to limited availability.

The package includes a screen protector and a magnetic keyboard. Other specifications, like battery life and display details, remain unannounced but should appear when the device officially launches. Most gaming handheld makers avoid using 16-core processors because of cost concerns, though reduced storage options could make such powerful devices more affordable.
