Paco’s holiday plans were canceled, and 2.6kg of dagga landed him in jail

A suspected drug dealer in Masvingo will stay in jail over the holidays. Bothwell Teveraishe, also known as Paco, was denied bail after getting caught with over two and a half kilograms of marijuana. He and another man, Panashe Barure, were arrested in Chivi. Detectives, following a tip, tracked Teveraishe driving from Masvingo to pick up Barure. They watched Barure bring a cardboard box out of his house. After dropping Barure off, the police stopped Teveraishe's car. They found the cannabis hidden in the front bonnet and behind the driver's seat. Barure was arrested later at a local business area. Cops also found more marijuana at his home. Teveraishe is known for allegedly running a drug operation behind the Farai Beerhall.
