Paddy Pimblett KOs Chandler in Miami Showdown

British fighter Paddy Pimblett beat American Michael Chandler at UFC 314 in Miami Saturday night. The lightweights served as the co-main event on the card. Pimblett took control in the third round, bringing Chandler to the mat and landing multiple punches. The referee jumped in to stop the action, giving Pimblett a technical knockout victory.

Chandler, a former Bellator champion at 38, has lost three straight fights. His career record stands at 23 wins against 10 losses. The American veteran struggled to match his younger opponent throughout the contest.

Pimblett continues his impressive winning streak, notching his ninth consecutive victory. The 30-year-old improved his overall record to 23 wins with just three losses. His dominant performance might earn him a higher ranking in the lightweight division.

The main event features Brazilian Diego Lopez facing Australian Alex Volkanovski for the empty UFC featherweight championship belt. Both fighters aim to claim the vacant title in the evening's showcase matchup.
