Pakistani forces accused of enforced disappearance and extrajudicial killing in Balochistan

Pakistani Frontier Corps forces abducted Abdost Jogi during an unauthorized home raid in Kech district. Military personnel transported Jogi to an unknown location without informing his family members. Paank, the Baloch National Movement's human rights department, documented this enforced disappearance case. The organization condemned violations of constitutional and international human rights protections. This incident continues Balochistan's pattern of civilian targeting during security operations.

Pakistani army summoned Mazar Baloch to Mashkai's Central Cantonment before killing him in Khandri village. Baloch had previously suffered enforced disappearance from 2015 to 2020 and faced continuous military harassment. Despite declaring innocence, authorities subjected him to repeated summons and intimidation tactics. An armed death squad operating under army supervision executed him during his return journey. His killing represents premeditated state violence against innocent civilians.

Paank demands independent investigations and international intervention to address Balochistan's escalating human rights crisis. The organization characterizes these systematic violations as war crimes requiring judicial accountability. International bodies must respond to state-sponsored repression campaigns targeting Baloch populations.
