Paris coach taunts Mbappe as PSG, Real Madrid clash looms in New York

Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique refused to talk drama ahead of his team's massive clash with Real Madrid. The Spanish coach brushed off questions about his past problems with superstar Kylian Mbappe before their Wednesday showdown. PSG and Real Madrid will battle at MetLife Stadium near New York for a spot at the Club World Cup final. Enrique called the match special but kept his focus on winning rather than old feuds. The coach wants his players ready for what could be their biggest test of the tournament.

Mbappe caused major headaches during his final season at PSG before joining Real Madrid. The French striker got benched early for refusing to sign a new contract with the Paris club. Enrique barely used Mbappe after the forward made clear he planned to leave. The coach says all that trouble belongs to the past and means nothing for Wednesday's game. PSG managed to win their first Champions League title right after Mbappe departed for Spain.

Real Madrid arrives under new manager Xabi Alonso who just started his job at the famous club. Enrique admitted he cannot predict how the Spanish giants will play under fresh leadership. The Real Madrid coach missed Tuesday's media session because storms delayed his team's flight from Florida. PSG will be missing two key defenders who got red cards against Bayern Munich. Chelsea waits for the winner after beating Fluminense to reach Sunday's final.
