PDP demands a full apology from Joram Nyirongo over the Nankhumwa Facebook insult

Rhodes Msonkho released a statement on Tuesday condemning online attacks against Kondwani Nankhumwa. The People's Development Party National Publicity Secretary criticized derogatory Facebook posts from Joram Nyirongo's official page. Party officials expressed disappointment over remarks they considered disrespectful to their president. The organization waited patiently for Nyirongo to show remorse and offer proper redress. PDP leaders hoped their restraint would encourage sincere reflection from the offending party.

Nyirongo blamed a stolen phone for the offensive content and issued broad public statements. Party representatives found his response inadequate because he failed to apologize directly to Nankhumwa. PDP officials questioned whether Nyirongo demonstrated genuine regret through his deflective approach. The organization believes his general apology missed the mark by avoiding specific acknowledgment of wrongdoing. Leaders demand that Nyirongo provide immediate and direct apologies to address the personal nature of his attack.
