PDP hits back at Ringim over smear campaign against Lamido

Political party leaders are fighting over a book that tells stories about past events. The People's Democratic Party attacked Aminu Ibrahim Ringim after he spoke badly about former Governor Sule Lamido's new book. Ringim runs with the New Nigeria Peoples Party and lost badly during the last election. He threatened to share embarrassing secrets about Lamido if the attacks continue. Party officials called his threats desperate moves from someone who cannot win elections.

Ringim only received about 35,000 votes across the entire state during his failed campaign. PDP leaders said this proves people rejected him and his political party completely. They accused him of spreading lies to make himself look better after his terrible performance. The party spokesman said Ringim travels around different areas telling false stories about other politicians. His angry outbursts show he cannot accept that voters did not want him as their leader.

Lamido wrote about strange accusations people made against Ringim during his time as governor. Some folks claimed Ringim used magic powers to control government decisions and buried a black donkey at the official residence. The former governor said he never believed these weird stories about supernatural influence. He only cared that no money went missing from government accounts during that period. PDP members dismiss all of Ringim's complaints as pointless noise from a failed politician.
