Sultan Nazrin Shah of Perak presented state honors to 205 individuals at Istana Iskandariah during ceremonies marking his 69th birthday celebration. Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim joined the Sultan for the investiture, with additional members of the royal family and Menteri Besar Saarani Mohamad attending the event.
Dr. Abdul Kadir Rifaei Abd Rashid Khairi, head of pathology at Teluk Intan Hospital, led recipients of the Darjah Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini, with 12 others receiving the same distinction. The Sultan awarded the Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak to 26 people, including Universiti Teknologi MARA deputy rector Mohd Azian Zaidi and a posthumous recognition for former Ayer Kuning assemblyman Ishsam Shahruddin.
National shuttlers Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei received the Pingat Pekerti Terpilih among 57 honorees. Additional awards included 39 recipients of the Darjah Ahli Mahkota Perak, featuring former national bowler Syaidatul Afifah Badrul Hamidi, and 46 individuals recognized with the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian.
