Perikatan Nasional closes Solaris Dutamas office as lease ends, seeks new site

Perikatan Nasional shut down their main office after the rental deal ran out. The political group had rented space at Solaris Dutamas for two years before April came around. Secretary-general Mohamed Azmin Ali said both sides agreed to end the lease without drama. Party leaders gave the thumbs up to close the headquarters and move somewhere else. The coalition denies stories about unpaid bills from March that some newspapers printed.

Staff members keep working from a secret location until they find better digs. Azmin slammed reporters for spreading false stories about money problems. He called the claims about missed rent payments totally wrong and reckless. The party boss promised that daily business continues as normal despite having no official address. Workers handle all the usual tasks from their temporary hideout.

Selangor party official Afif Bahardin confirmed the group stays active even without a proper office. He told reporters they never stopped running meetings or making decisions. The doctor said finding fresh office space takes time but the search continues. Party members still gather to discuss important matters and plan future moves. Nobody should worry about the coalition falling apart over office troubles.

The Solaris Dutamas building hosted major party meetings since leaders formed the alliance back during 2020. Deputy chairman Hamzah Zainudin admitted he knew nothing about the closure details. He said Azmin handles all the office rental business for the organization. The headquarters served as the main meeting spot for top party officials. Leaders used the space for their most important strategy sessions.
