Petersburg Used Car Prices Crash 3 Percent Lada Hit

Used car prices fell across St. Petersburg during May. Buyers paid about 3 percent less for secondhand vehicles compared to April. Russian-made Lada cars lost the most value among all brands. Renault models also saw similar price cuts during the same period. Auto experts from Avito studied sales data to track these changes.

Ford vehicles ranked second for price drops at 2.5 percent lower than before. Kia and Toyota both lost 2 percent of their previous values. Mitsubishi finished the list with smaller decreases of 1.5 percent. Certain car models experienced much steeper price falls than others did.

Kia Sportage SUVs became 6 percent cheaper during the month. Mercedes-Benz C-class sedans cost buyers 5.7 percent less money. Ford Focus cars went down 3.4 percent from earlier prices. Mazda 6 and two Ford models each fell 3 percent in cost.

The typical used car costs 999 thousand rubles around the city. This amount represents a small drop from the previous month. Car shoppers found better deals on popular models throughout May.
